Unusual purple Weloganite crystals from the Francon Quarry, Montréal, Québec, Canada. A rare violet-tinged carbonate — the color is likely caused by natural irradiation and color centers — displaying excellent crystal form, lustre and partial matrix. It is associated with small white balls of Dresserite. From a now-closed and historically important locality; an exceptional specimen for collectors of rare carbonates and Montreal minerals. 9.4 x 7.8 x 4.9 cm
